Dr. James Gibson, MD

Dr. Gibson was recommended to us by our internist. He did surgery (gall bladder on my husband). He had had previous surgeries and didn't do to well. With Dr. Gibson he was up and around in no time and did extremely well. I had an office procedure. Both Dr. Gibson and his staff were very professional and caring. Definitely recommend, in fact just did to a friend who probably has breast cancer.

Dr Gibson. Did hiatal hernia surgery on me .I was worse after the surgery than I was before. Got to I couldn't eat without food getting stuck or coming back up. Went back to him all he wanted to do was stretch it which did no good at all.went to another Dr had surgery again am doing real well can swallow without any problems my experience with Dr Gibson was not good at all

He spoke to like I really didn't exist. I felt like he hadn't even reviewed my case before he walked in to speak with me. He didn't even know at first what I was there about. My husband and talked to him about things that were in the results of my test and before he replayed he had to flip through pages of my file. He wouldn't even consider doing what I was sent to him for because I am fat. He made me feel like crap because I am fat. He sugested I get a gastric bypass or go to weight watchers. He may be good at what he does but his bed side manner major sucks.

Dr Gibson has been my surgeon for at least 25 years. He has saved my life in cancer surgery for breast and colon by catching it before it spread. I have also had hernias repaired. I have so much faith in him when I have a health problem. He is very caring.

My husband was referred by our family doctor. We had never met Dr. Gibson before the appt. this morning. The staff and Dr. Gibson were friendly, courteous, professional and made us feel very much at ease before, during and after the procedure. When we left we were clear on instructions for follow up and care. We will definitely recommend Dr. Gibson to family and friends.Thank you.

I went into the ER with two hernias, one was stangulated. Dr. Gibson was the surgeon on call and he was extremely competent and extremely accomodating to my wife. As it was very late at night on Saturday he permitted her to be with me in the holding area and the recovery room. I have nothing but good things to say about him. In his office he took the necessary time with me also.

Had a simple hernia operation and was black & blue almost to my knees.Left a large (many cc's) of blood at surgery site. Had to have removed by another doctor. Very casual about my problem and not at all supportive.
