Surgery was much easier than I thought. Pre-operative preparations take most of the time. No complaints. Oh, just one. The golf cart is in ROUGH shape. Someone's going to get hurt out there.

THIS DOCTOR OPERATED ON ME FOR CATARACTS. DURING THE INTERVIEW, HE ASKED ME IF I WANTED HIM TO PUT SPECIAL DROPS IN MY EYES SO THAT I WOULD NOT GET 'DRY EYE'--WELL HELLO??? WHO WANTS DRY EYE??? ANYWAY, I DID GET DRY EYE AFTER THE SURGERY and HAD TO HAVE OPERATIONS ON BOTH EYES TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM--WHICH BY THE WAY, I NEVER HAD BEFORE HE TOUCHED ME. AFTER THE OPERATIONS, I WHEN I WENT TO SEE HIM ABOUT SWELLING IN MY EYES AFTER HE SUPPOSEDLY OVERSAW or PERSONALLY DID THE SURGERY ON ME--HE WAS TOTALLY BRUTAL!!! HE TOLD ME HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY EYES and WAS VERY 'CRUELY INCOMPASSIONATE TOWARDS ME'--NO WHERE DID I SEE ANY 'CHRISTIAN COMPASSIONATE BEHAVIOR'--THAT HE SO DEARLY ENDORSES and EMBRACES!!!. I CAME OUT OF HIS OFFICE IN 'TEARS' -- I WAS NEVER IN MY LIFETIME SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE PATIENT-DOCTOR RELATIONSHIP THAT THIS MAN DEMONSTRATED!!!!!! AND, BELIEVE ME, I HAVE UNDERGONE MANY SURGERIES in MY LIFETIME!!! ALSO, WHEN I SAW HIM WALKING DOWN THE… HALL ONE AFTERNOON, HIS HAND WAS SHAKING LIKE A PERSON WHO MIGHT HAVE 'PALSEY' Or 'PARKINSON's' DISEASE. I AM NOT SAYING THAT HE HAS ANY OF THESE DISEASES (as I DON'T WANT TO GET HARRASSED} , BUT IT SURE DID LOOK SUSPICIOUS!!

Pleasant waiting room. Staff do a professional job, but come across as detached and indifferent. Dr. Gills is cordial and seems knowledgeable. I left with the impression that I was viewed as a product on an assembly line and was never contacted again. A rather strange experience.

First Doctor that cared enough to call after treatment to ask how I was. I am glad I met Dr. Gills and very appreciative of the care and treatment I recived from him and his staff.

Implanted multi-focal lense which have caused unbelievable misery. Gills wanted his assistant to call Alcon [manuf of lenses] and have me speak to them any relay my issues. I refused as he is the "expert". His reply was " he calls them all the time and they don't listen to him [them]. NICE!!!!!
