Dr. James Ertha Gleason JR., MD

Dr. Gleason has been my primary care physician for 30 years. I trust him implicitly! He has helped me with many diagnosis and medical decisions throughout our doctor patient relationship and he LISTENS, which I value! Trust and knowledge are imperative when making medical decisions, and Dr. Gleason has my full trust. He is a blessing.

Dr. Gleason has a friendly, caring, bedside manner. His diagnosis are generally on target. I trust him with the care of my health.

His office management team leaves a lot to be desired........

Finally,!!! a doctor that Listens to what you have to say about your condition. He is tactful when he is in disagreement with the patient's outlook of his condition and goes out of his way to offer as many other options that could benefit the patient as well. The patient also benefits by being educated about his condition so that Doctor and patient status becomes a "team" effort for recovery. This doctor is a rare treasure in the medical field and should be recognized for his vibrant persona even when it has been an over-whelming day. His diagnosis is right on target, and his check-list for things to complete makes my personal progress easier because I can review what was covered.. I always leave the office feeling better due to a breathing treatment or due to an encouraging discussion regarding my recovery. Great Doctor!!

I have read all of the reviews posted and I agree with the fact that the front end needs some work as well as the wait time But Dr, Gleason is a great doctor. He has been our doctor for more than 22 years and we follow him wherever he moves to. Yes there are areas that need to be addressed but that can be said for almost any doctors office. The main thing for me is that he takes the time to make sure we are well and cared for. For those of you who want more then by all means go somewhere else and cute down my wait time.

Dr. Gleason is great ,he spends time with you to make sure you have a great understanding of what the problem is you are dealing with.He is patience has a great bedside manner.The Dr himself is very knowlegeable. Never can I get anyone on the phone I have to go over to the office.The staff needs work!

I could never get the doctor to contact me about a very important medical issue involving my child.I had to change her primary care doctor due to this situation .Please be aware that doctor has full case load and does not give attention to individual patients.I wanted for two months!

Dr. Gleason is physician who I know was sent by GOD. My overall experience with him has been excellent! He really loves what he does and he cares about his patients. He takes time with me and answers all of my questions. Most important, he calls and follows up with me. There are times when I have had to wait, but when this happened, I was notified and then the decision to wait became mine. I waited because I know that QUALITY SERVICE takes time, and Dr. Gleason provides quality service with a smile. I have no problem with waiting. Keep up the great job Dr. Gleason.

Trying to get a phone call through is the most difficult thing because the majority of the day - staff is taking the phone off the receiver. This is uncalled for and very, very unprofessional. Dr. Gleason need to do an organizational change when it comes to his front office staff (they are terrible)! Some of his nursing staff need to be replaced as well. The waiting time is anywhere from 2-3 hours. Ridiculous! His office is very unorganized due to unprofessional staff. If this problem could be corrected along with STOP taking the phone of the receiver and hire a 8 hour receptionist (for the phones and appointments only)- I think Dr. Gleason ratings will improve by 50%-60%. His staff is taking him through the ringer thus causing him to loose clients, setting a bad example for his business.
