Dr. James E Haberman, MD

The manager of this practice is unacceptable , my daughter went to an interview at this practice , was given a start date and talked in detail protocol of office , so she gave her two weeks notice at her current job. So the manager Michelle from Dr Haberman calls my daughter and withdraw offer , job position she only apologizes, she has no work ethic and no moral in doing the right thing as a manager. It shows the character of who they have running the office, and shame on the doctor for allowing the employee to do such a thing. You do not lead people on. The manager withdrew offer and then tells my daughter she calls her in a few days , she has to speak to doctor! Speak to the doctor about what the withdrawal of position, absurd....there lost my daughter is professional and classy. As for the doctor , your manager represents your office when it comes to staff, and patients.

- they force you to pay $202 upfront for your visit because the front desk doesn’t call your insurance before your visit like they’re supposed to. My insurance didn’t cover a penny, which i only found out after I had to call them 2 weeks after my visit. - They lost my files. I have been coming here for years. I came here only because I thought it’d be the quickest and easiest way to get my contact prescription renewed. - we are in the middle of a pandemic. Why are there people being put in the same “private” room as me while I’m doing my exams? - they moved me in and out of rooms and back to the waiting room AT LEAST 6 times. - I saw the doctor for maybe 1.5 minutes. Which at that point I brought up that my eye has been twitching. Its uncomfortable and I get self conscious while I’m taking to people because of it.To which he ignored my question and kept talking to the nurse, turned around, and told me I drink too much soda / coffee. When I said I don’t drink either of those (my mom… raised me on a caffeine free diet because my siblings had ADHD and I could never get used to the taste of soda/coffee) he turned around and said I’m stressed. When I said I don’t think I’m stressed, he told me “it must be a mystery then” I will never go back to this doctor and if my eye twitching gets worse I will definitely be filing for negligence :)

Dr Haberman did the work that we needed. The office staff is not helpful to the patients nor with the paperwork. My husband had an appointment & because they couldn't get in touch with the insurance company it was taking too long & in order to expedite the visit we paid a copay of $35.00. After the dr got paid from our insurance company I had to call the office a few times tor the reimbursement. Since it was taking long to receive the check they decided to place a stop payment on the check. When I received the check & deposited in the bank it came back with a stop payment & a $15.00 fee. After I received the charge called again to the office & after more than one call finally I received the check but not the fee that the bank charged. I m surprised of the actions from a dr.. He had said he didn't place a stop payment Who would ?? if it was his check. I m still waiting because I had to send him a copy of the stop payment & fees. I mailed it to his office, But guess what? Never… received. Now I have to send another copy or take a trip to his office that takes 40 minutes. Its not fair what he's doing. Not having the right employees that can do the job. This is not an office to go to when you have paperwork to deal with. His reason. Insurance company took too long to pay him. That s not my problem . Please don t go to his office nor recomend him to anyone. If someone can help me to solve this faster please reply. You can check under Vazquez patient.

Was charged by my bank nsf fee after I cashed a check for credit for ins copay in order to see the dr because staff could not check ins inf.

I 'm very disappointed with the staff at the front desk. They do not know what they 're doing. They couldn't get our insurance information had to wait long time to see dr. Send me a check from co payment & had a stop payment & I was charged fees from my bank. Sent my account to a collection agency when we had insurance. Dr was good. He needs to check on his staff.

Dr told my Mom she had cataracts, told her Medicare doesn’t cover, Medicare does cover cataract surgery, and find out my mom doesn’t have cataracts. Horrible dr.

Really good doctor. Spot on with diagnosis and treatment every time.

Rudeness is an understatement for him

Horrible Staff. Every time I take my daughter there I walk out more and more frustrated with how rude and apathetic the staff is at this place. While Dr. Haberman himself may be very knowledgeable, his staff and policies are horrendous. I've been going there for almost 2 years now, and I'm done. Today was without a doubt my last visit to this place. Can't wait to find a doctor with a staff that actually cares about their patients. Save yourself the aggravation and stay FAR AWAY from this place. Rude + Overpriced + Horrible Customer Service.
