Dr. James Monroe Harvey, MD

Dr. Harvey is not old. My reason for the title is the caring way he treats his patients. I am so thankful to have found him over 20 years ago. He not only takes care of my physical ailments he has seen me through the death of my husband of 40 years, losing my son, and the death of my grandson at 16. I thank God for him. He is a blessing to us and we pray for him and his family every day.

Outstanding doctor who listens.

Dr. Harvey has been my doctor for long time. He understands what I need from a doctor and works with me to achieve a healthy life. I don't like to do anything unless it is necessary and he totally understands this. I also need to have his input to see if I am on the right track and he does that with honesty and concern. He is smart, very smart, and is actually better than many test people take to find out what is wrong. He is quick to order what you need and is a faith filled man as he uses science to help you advance in health both in body and in spirit. I am grateful for all he has done for me and others.

Dr. Harvey is the best Doctor. if you want a doctor that will treat you like a person and help you he is the one you want. He is AWESOME!!!!!!

Dr. Harvey is one of the few doctors still out there that cares about his patients and not so much the money. He does everything he can to make sure you are to a fast and healthy recovery.

Dr. Harvey has a great bedside manner and you never seem rushed with him. The treatments and advice he gives is top notch. The only real issue I have is when I call for an appointment he is either out of the office or the appointment is for at least 1 to 2 weeks out. When I am sick, I want to see a doctor today or tomorrow, not 2 weeks from now.

Dr. Harvey is very kind and caring. He treats me as he would a member of his own family, and I appreciate that. I have never had a problem getting treated by Dr. Harvey when I came in, or getting a referral, if needed. Dr. Harvey is a rare treasure these days.

Harvey has good bedside manner but will not do much in regards to treatment unless pressed hard. Tends to want to just wait things out and see if they heal themselves rather than taking bull by horns and getting rid of problem. Came in on the 9th straight day of a migraine and they would not give me anything or prescribe anything. Said they could give me a painkilling shot but only if I had someone to drive me home which I didn't. They would do NOTHING else. I just can't believe that there is not a painkiller they could have called in to pharmacy that I could have taken when I got home. Absolute "B.S." if you ask me. I know there is something besides the "shot" that could be done but they refused.
