Dr. James R Hebda, PhD

The assessment took several sessions. At the end he explained my results in an understandable way and provided useful insight into my condition and medication options. I went to him specifically for this reason. He focused the six sessions to this topic and provided my primary care physician with results and considerations for medication.

Highly intelligent and knowledgeable about the brain and it's function. I believe this is why others think he is odd or crazy as stated in other reviews. He also has had facial surgery which impairs his speech. This explains much about the other reviews. He treats the entire patient not just the one issue people think they have. This is psychology and the brain is complex and he explains how one issues is related to other issues in the patient's life to hear the whole person. I was completely impressed and have a scientific background so I recommend him without hesitation to those willing to listen and ready to find out what is really wrong with them. Kudos to Dr. Hebda!

This doctor needs to be shut down. He is very unprofessional he talked about being on himself drugs in front my young child, spoke negatively about schools and said my child would hate school in front of her along with several other things that are irrelevant and unprofessional. The whole appointment was like no appointment I have ever been to. I do not recommend anyone wasting their time this man is scary crazy!

Extremely unprofessional, was only there for ten minutes before walking out on this psycho. He made assumptions based on nothing and was beyond rude. The first five minutes of the appointment he spent rambling about how the brain works in regards to children from parents who we're violent to each other. I was there for a bariatric evaluation. I tried to steer us back on track and in response he spent the last five minutes calling me emotionally unstable, angry, paranoid, and that I suffer from ptsd. Stay away!

This Dr was very pleasurable and polite!
