Dr. James Jeffrey Hedde, DO

This doctor made me feel rushed during my visit and showed little concern for the significant health issues I am experiencing. Proof is in the fact that he failed to initiate a referral as promissed... I never received a call from the neurologist he was going to contact for me. To make matters worse, his office did nothing more than tell me to call them myself when I brought this oversight to their attention. I visited Dr. Hedde with several significant health issues. All I received as a result of that visit was a headache to add to the list. Don't make the same mistake I did.

My partner and I have been patients of Dr. Hedde for over a year and have nothing but good things to say. I have not had the best experience with doctors and have little to say. Dr. Hedde is like my best friend in high school....I feel that I cant talk to him about anything. He takes his time on EVERY appointment, we're never rushed, never wait long, and his advise comes from the heart. We love Dr. Hedde.

Our family will NEVER go back to this medical machine again!! They have no compassion for the patients, and are only interested in keeping the cash flowing. My husband - disabled USMC combat vet - had an appt w/ Dr. Hedde at 10:45am. We called from the car at 10:30am saying we'd be 10 mins late due to traffic. We followed the prompts/instructions on their phone system, and left the message. Upon our arrival at 10:56am. We were told to re-schedule, since we were late. We explained we left the message, and my husband NEEDED to see Dr Hedde today. We sat in the completely EMPTY waiting room, while they got the office manager. She was incredibly aggressive from the get go. She was shaking her head at me w/ a condescending tone of "too bad, not my problem". Again, what about the patient? I asked her to go tell Dr Hedde we were there, and we will be leaving the practice after 4 yrs w/ him as our primary. I also needed a prescription re-filled. She came back to the desk after… about 4 mins. Told me Dr Hedde did not want to see us, and they'll fax the refill. I asked for records release forms for our family, as we would never be back due to their systematic, cold hearted approach. It doesn't matter that we have always been at least 10mins early to any appt w/ him, only to be left waiting in the exam room for 15-20 mins. If you're late by 11mins, and call to say as much - too bad - go have your heart attack in the parking lot. Oh yeah, and 6 days later, the pharmacy is still waiting on the prescription. I believe the oath starts with, " first, do no harm". Dr Hedde has completely forgotten his oath and should be ashamed of himself as a physician. SHAME!!!

I was very impressed with my visits with Dr. Hedde. I am not impressed that I just tried to make a sick visit and the only time they can give me is 4 days away in the afternoon

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hedde. The entire office experience is always 5 stars. His staff from the time you walk in until the time you walk out are always polite, smiling, welcoming and friendly. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room, and i always take his last appointment of the day! He is very prompt. Lindsay, his assistant, is also very friendly and helps me to feel at ease when I'm in the office. Dr. Hedde has such a wonderful bedside manner and is down to earth and always on the same level with me. He takes his time to listen to how my life is going and answers all questions I have. I hope he never goes anywhere because I never want to see another primary care doctor!
