Very very Happy with Dr Helgager, I had a left hip replaced 5 years ago, and the other Dr. gave me a extra inch, I had to put padding in my shoe to somewhat even me out. Dr Helgager balanced me out. I was up and walking the same day, out the next. within days I was walking the neighbor hood, back golfing after 6 weeks. Also liked the Force program, helped me with exercises to heal. I first got to know Dr. Helgager in my search for a premier orthopedic surgeon. He was the fifth and final doctor that I met with, before deciding to proceed with total knee replacements for both knees. One of the knees was extremely challenging medically to operate on. Thanks to Dr. Helgager's superb technical and surgical skills, I have 2 GREAT knees 8.5 years later. Recently, I had to revisit him for water infusion in the left knee. Again, he came through. I felt from the very beginning that I was in good hands with Dr. Helgager, and it is awesome to know that I still am. I am forever grateful.

Extremely pleased with my hip replacement surgery.

Dr Helgager was the best hip replacement doctor ever. He was so kind and really caring! I was back to work in 19 days with no pain whatsoever. Who could ask for more!!

PT is much much less at the SNF than recommended by Helgager. No ice. no elevation, nothing hourly, no pumps or circles etc.

I was so pleased with Dr Helgagers surgical skill, professionalism and caring that replacing my second bad hip within 6 months of the first was an easy decision. I was playing golf 4 weeks after the first total hip replacement and am confident that the second surgery will have similar results, (now 2 weeks post surgery). Both were posterior surgeries and I am pain free. Dr Helgager is a tremendous surgeon.
