Dr. James M Heller

Dr. Jim Heller has been a practicing dentist for 35 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Bowdoin College in 1971, and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975.Upon graduation, he served on active duty in the United States Navy Dental Corps from 1975-1977, stationed at the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, Connecticut. During his two years in the Navy, Dr. Heller had the opportunity to care for the wide variety of the dental needs of our active duty personnel. In addition, he was selected to attend several advanced education courses at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.In 1979, Dr. Heller established his own practice centered on quality personal care and technical excellence. Dr. Heller is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), the South Shore District Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. …Heller has always maintained an active presence in the communities of Brockton and Easton, working with such organizations as the Hancock and West Little Leagues, Old Colony YMCA, Harbor One Credit Union, Brockton Youth Soccer, Our Lady of Lourdes, Holy Cross Church in Easton, and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.Dr. Heller’s life outside of dentistry has always centered around his family; his wife Anne, and their two sons Matt and Jake. Whether it’s skiing, hiking, camping or more recently golf, Dr. Heller enjoys the time shared with his family and friends.
