Dr. James M Hitchcock, DO

My family & I have been with Dr Hitchcock for over 10 years. He is a wonder knowledgeable doctor. Dr Hitchcock is great with my son who has autism. He also provide great advise & care for us when we came in with my youngest son who had strange bruising suddenly appearing on his body. Dr Hitchcock also helped my husband when he didn't know he ruptured a disc in his upper spine. I appreciate Dr Hitchcock doesn't push unnecessary medication & antibiotics. He prescribes what is actually required and needed. I trust him with my health & my family's.

Me and My wife has been going to Dr Hitchcock for about 8 years and he discharged me and My wife because the nurses there told Dr Hitchcock that we been calling our pain medications in really early every month which Is not true and then when we tried to seek another physician they wouldn't see us because of Hitchcock's office sending over discharge papers telling them I'm a drug addict and My wife had the same issue with trying to find a Dr well My wife had passed away two months after she was discharged from Dr Hitchcock office because she couldn't get proper care which I'm now filing suit against that facility and my cousin goes there which I got him into going there to see Dr Hitchcock and now he's giving him narcotics and he snorts Them up his nose and I'm going to report that to someone that will check into this because for one I didn't sign the release for discharge papers I only signed a release for my medical records so beware of the nurses that works at this facility

Stay away from this doctor's office. It is a disgrace. His staff is wretched! My father is a patient of theirs for more than 20 years. He is in the midst of a health crisis, and when I called today to follow up on some medication changes, the nurse I spoke to, Jacie, was exceptionally rude to me. She intimated that my father was a pest, and I was bothering her too. When I challenged her on her attitude, tone, and approach, she hung up on me. I have left multiple voicemails for the office manager, Marsha, but she hasn't responded. This same office told my father for a week to, "just take Tylenol", for what turned out to be pneumonia. When my father ended up being hospitalized, my mother asked the office if Dr. Hitchcock could call the hospital (where he has privileges) to find out what was going on. She was told the doctor doesn't do that.

Dr. Hitchcock was very concerned and attentive during my first visit with him. He listened to what I had to say and he did not seem rushed or in a hurry. He was very professional and he addressed all my health issues.
