Dr. James Douglas Kasten, MD

Dr Kasten delivered my children. He is a very caring and experienced physician. I always recommend him to my family and friends. If you have a complication, Dr Kasten is who you want to take care of you because of his experience and expertise. He really does care about his patients. His office staff is wonderful and he has a great nurse practitioner Jeannie Lampe also.

I have never experienced the rudeness, disrespect & demeaning manner from a doctor as I did with Dr.Kasten. I was not expecting anything like that at all.Seemed very bothered by my questions regarding my planned surgery. He made it very clear that he didn't like answering the same question more than 1 time. Needless to say.I made a decision to go elsewhere. Would not recommend him just on "bedside" manner alone.

I went in for a possible miscarriage. Dr. Kasten was very kind, and informative.

Doctor Kasten is amazing ... in 2009 I was actually seeing another obgyn in his office ... she happened to be on vacation when I went into labor with my first child... the on call doctor was Kasten ... he had awesome bedside manners he was very vocal and explained to me the whole process of everything he was doing... which as a first time mother made me feel 100% better... when my son arrived he was very respectful to my family and finished up as quick as he could so we could all enjoy our new baby.... in my 6 week check up he was also very respectful .... I would and have referred him to many woman...

Dr kaste has always took into consideration of my feelings about my unborn children he has always been,amazing n never had me wait for anything when ivr went into pretem labor gave me optiob n made things happen I recommend him to everyone

I have been a patient of Dr. Kasten for 24 years. He is the BEST! Very caring, considerate, PROFESSIONAL and truly cares about his patients. Besides, he is a nice guy too. His office staff is the best around. As a hospital employee, I would recommend him 100%

I have went to Dr. Kasten since i was a tennager and he has delivered all 3 about to be 4 boys. I would be lost without is smartalick responses and he gives great encouragement to be healthy. I hope he never retires because i will have to stop having kids..lol

At first I hated him. I had a miscarriage and he just acted like it was a job he didn't seem to care about me as a person. But after I found out I was pregnant the seocond time,he was the best! He watched me very closely and wanted the best for my baby! After 26 hours of labor he game me the strength to keep going and give birth naturally!! He also acted like he had my best interest and the baby's as well!!! I will definitely go back to him when I have my second child.

Rude. Dismisses patients concerns without even listening.Worstr bedside manner I've ever encountered.
