I did very well under Dr Killeffer's care. Post surgery Ì had little to no pain. I was up and walking the next day.

Always prompt. Staff friendly. Nice office at Tennova. Dr K is an A+ surgeon in every aspect.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Killeffer He provided awesome advice and he was very knowledgeable and helpful with my Neck Pain and herniation I would highly recommend him and his practice He did tell me the best case scenario to do He suggested cervical disc fusion surgery but told me to think about it and that he’s here when I want to come back and schedule I left the appointment highly satisfied I am going to pray and think about the surgery

Dr. Killeffer and his staff are amazing. Dr. Killeffer is highly skilled and has performed successful surgeries on me several times over the years. His staff is very efficient and compassionate. Thankful for him and his staff.

From the scheduling, wait time staff to time spent with Dr Killeffer I can not rate high enough. I had a successful cervical fusion in May at his outpatient surgical center. After 4 years of headaches He has explained my options for surgical intervention. I trust in Dr K and so admire his bedside manner.

FTook a while to get in to see Dr Killeffer because he is in high demand and very busy. On appointment day he was prompt and took time to fully understand my issue. Once we settled on path forward we set the surgery date for about 2-weeks out. It was an out-patient laminectomy/discectomy at L3-L4. Went as planned. I just had my 3-week recheck 3 days ago and I’m doing much better. Sciatic pain is gone! I told him that he is my neurosurgeon from now on and he said we would be happy with that role but hoped I didn’t need any further work. Great bedside manner. Everyone from his PA to the insurance folks were pleasant. I guess there is good reason he is the head of neurosurgery at UT Hospital! Highly recommend Dr Killeffer!

Dr Killeffer and his office staff are excellent! They are always professional and efficient.

Dr Killefer was recommended to me by close friends of ours. He did not disappoint! He is conservative when it comes to recommending surgery and talks through all options before surgery. I had been dealing with this neck pain for 10 years and when he found out I've tried other options, he still left it in my hands, laying out all percentages, etc. After weighing out years of pain that progressively got worse the last year, we agreed to surgery, a fusion of c5-c7. I'm a month out now and at my post op appt he explained everything I had questions to, showing me X-rays and answering concerns I had confirming this stage of recovery is normal. Bed side manners is important to me and he spent time asking about my husband and my work life. Very personable!

Dr. Killeffer did surgery on my neck about six weeks ago. I had been in constant pain about nine months and had been in a cervical brace type collar. I saw another neurosurgeon who told me I needed a fusion at C1-C2. He told me it was a very serious and painful surgery. I decided to get a second opinion, not because I didn't like the Dr but because I didn't want a fusion. I was hoping for another option. I had a fall before I was seen again and went to the ER and was told that I would definitely need a fusion. I saw Dr. Killeffer, finally, and he did surgery on my neck, after telling me the surgery was serious and extremely painful. After a few days post surgery, my pain was nothing compared to the pain I had all those months. I am very thankful that I waited for the second opinion, even though it still had to be fused. I think Dr. Killeffer is a wonderful Dr and I am doing very well surgery wise. He was very patient with me and all my questions and I would definitely recommend him to… anyone.
