Dr. James Vance Kirby, MD

I have known many psychiatrics, and Dr. Kirby is by far the best. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and down to earth. He makes everyone he comes in contact with feel comfortable. But he is also very sharp, and his knowledge about psychotropics is up to date. He is extremely patient centered in a world that is ruled by corporations and insurance. It's unfortunate that he no longer works near where I live and practice. I simply cannot say enough good things about him.

I met Dr Kirby after a night I had to leave my husband at kmc because he was danger to himself and to others. My husband had many disadvantages he was a victim of a car accident and suffered a traumatic Braun injury (tbi) he also suffered from ptsd from his time in the service r child hood abuse. When I came to visit my husband I had a moment with Dr Kirby. In an instant I felt Jr was in the best hands. We have seen many professionals whom could not sum up my husbands condition like Dr Kirby did for us with just an over night visit. I can say he (Dr Kirby) is the best in the north west. And we are so lucky to have him and his expertice here in north idaho
