Dr. James Kryzanski, MD

Over a period of 4 months, I went from fine to barely being able walk. An MRI showed severe impingement of my spinal cord. My GP referred me to Dr Kryzanski due to the severity of the impingement. I was seen for an evaluation on a Wednesday and was fit into a cancellation slot for surgery the following Monday. Dr Kryzanski's staff from pre-op, OR an post-op were amazing. Everyone introduced themselves, told me what their job was, what procedure they were performing ("I'll be putting a line in your vein for administering anesthesia"), but most importantly, they listened to me and responded honestly with my questions and concerns. After surgery the post-op staff had me up and taking a few steps just to ensure the surgery relieved the pressure on my spinal cord. When moved to a room, the nursing staff and healthcare advocate were attentive and very responsive. Physical Therapy had me up and walking the day after surgery to make sure I could move with the help of a walker. Six… weeks post-op I had my follow-up with Dr Kryzanski and staff. I was given a clean bill of health but the Dr was up front about setting expectations to the long path to recovery and what I can expect going forward. I'm now in PT to rebuild stamina, flexibility and strength. Everything is moving forward well, and as expected based on my consultations with the Dr and his staff. I'm VERY pleased with the procedure and outcome and especially with Dr Kryzanski's staff.

Dr Kryzanski was very professional and caring. Before surgery he answered all questions. After surgery he reviewed the post op xrays and answered my questions and explained the results. My condition is improving and I am currently receiving outpatient physical therapy at his recommendation. I would refer patients to Dr Kryzanski who offers superb care to his patients

L5 herniated disc changed me from an active 76 year old to one with continual pain and an inactive life. Dr Krysinski, a second opinion, listened and responded in a caring manner, outlined procedure and outcomes, and scheduled me within a month. Recovery with pain management meant walking with a cane within 3 days and limited discomfort through the recovery (which surprised both the medical staff and myself). Months later, I am 93% back, and require me respecting I still have arthritis in the lumbar area. Skilled and caring doctor and support staff in the office and hospital!!!!

For the first time in 20 years Dr Kryzanski made me feel heard seen and validated my very real pain. My surgery was scheduled promptly and I had no conplications. I was referred to Dr. Kryzanski for neurological brain surgery to control my seizures that had become resistant to medication. He has changed my life for the better! He has given me a chance to live a healthy seizure free life without the fear of having a seizure. I was taking so much medication that was poisoning me due to the toxicity of the medications. Now I’m seizure free and take very small amounts of medication on a daily basis and possibly may not have to take any more medication after a year. He is very methodical clearly explains every aspect of the procedure. His staff is top notch. He has a great bedside manner and I’m externally grateful for his skill and dedication to my wellbeing. There could not be a doctor any nicer or more caring than Dr. Krysanski. My spinal surgery was a huge success. I can highly recommend him.

Dr. Kryzanski is terrific and I’d highly recommend him. I got 2 competing opinions on what was needed, and saw him for the 3’d opinion. I liked the fact that his approach was the most conservative, and the least risky, and he explained the rationale for the approach. He operated successfully on one of my doctors, and she has sent 9 referrals to him ( all successful), and my friend also had a successful fusion a week after mine.

Dr. Krysanski is excellent. He is very attentive, caring and a top notch surgeon. He came highly recommended to me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or return to him if needed. The NP's (Marianne, Kelly and Michelle) were excellent. Always available for questions during recovery. Jamie was great too in keeping track of all the details.
