Dr. James Edward Landen, MD

The greatest psychiatrist I ever had. He saved my life. Finally I was given the right meds which changed my whole life. The fear and anxiety does not cripple my life anymore. I’m bi polar 1 and I know about depression. Now I’m a completely different person. I smile and my episodes have been under control since I met dr landen. I highly recommend him.

Sorry. Not a good doc. Doesn't answer calls or return messages. Is distracted. Doesn't look you, only the computer. Can't maintain consistency. Very expensive. Not interested and kinda confused.

This doctor used to be good but i think something is wrong him now. Forgetful, confused, doesn't follow up and he does give other peoples pills out which he keeps in his office. He don't have help and only will talk to patients at certain times if he answers or he doesn't return calls no matter how sick you are. He coould be dangerous he doesn't care

Should have done this a long time ago. Totally unprofessional. Totally insensitive to my sons problems and dismissive. Completely misdiagnosed my son with a movement disorder which led to a wild goose chase to see more doctors and more expense. I wish I could give him 0 stars.

He takes all aspects of my life into consideration before making decisions in tx. Also keeps family members informed. Thanks Dr. L.

we had an appointment at 3:00 pm. He asked to be there at 2:45 to fill out the paper work. We were there at 2:30. There were noone at the front desk! We had to knock on the door to get Dr. Landen out of his office. He was NOT professional! Then he asked us to wait in the waiting room. We did until 3:30 and he did not come out to let us know that he was running late. We finally got up and knocked on the front door again to let him know we are leaving. He was not responding to us. We finally called his name a few times. He came out and without saying much or apologizing, he let us out. It was very strange to see a psychiatrist handling patients the way he did. He looked weird and seemed off.

My son and my wife have seen him for some time. He always takes ample time to understand the situation, and has great insight into helping the family cope, and learn new ways of working through things. Truly giving and wonderful human being.

My overall experience with Dr. Landen has been really great. He is kind, compassionate, and really listens. He doesn't jump to conclusions and is very open minded. While he is really great, he runs his entire office, so be prepared for a bit of a wait to see him. That said, he will never rush you out. He is also good about returning calls.

He is the best psychiatrist I have ever met! I am a therapist and have worked with quite a few over the years. My son adores him and does whatever he advises. He is funny, kind, sensitive and very wise.
