Dr. James Joongha Lee

I've never had a bigger waste of time in any experience with a doctor in my life. I filled out a total of seven pages of medical history, all of it regarding lower back pain, and it was obvious that he hadn't read a word of it.The first thing he asked about when coming into the exam room was "Are you the one who had a CT scan on his stomach?" I told him no, and that I didn't even know what a CT scan was. I have no idea what he was talking about. He obviously had not read the very detailed information about my back problem that I'd provided.His physical exam of my back latest no more than 15 seconds, consisting only of looking at my range of movement without pain while bending backward. I had to get his visual attention to my forward range of motion...he'd already "finished" his exam.He spent about three minutes describing in detail about how MRI's frequently give false positive results, and how unreliable they are. And what was the FIRST thing he wanted me to do, a couple minutes… after going through all that? Go and get an MRI. Nothing at all about a possible plan for pain management.I have not been back to see him after that first appointment. My name for him is "Dr. Worthless". You can do much, much better with another physiatrist.
