Dr. James Allen Lengemann, MD

My son of 14 years has an AVM in his brain and was sent to Lurie's Children's Hospital, an out-of-network hospital after being seen at Edward's Hospital, an in-network hospital. What is puzzling is the fact that the attending physician at Edwards Hospital in Plainfield called the main hospital in Naperville and he told us that NONE of the physicians would touch my son due to him being a minor so we were referred to Lurie's Children's Hospital. After our initial visit at Lurie's, we scheduled several appointments and when it came time for referrals our PCP was very accommodating, however DR. LENGEMANN, who appears to be on the board went against my son's PCP orders and denied the referral for no other reason than to keep the "MONEY" IN NETWORK! Thanks DR. LENGEMANN! I wonder how much money in kickbacks you get for your loyalty. Now I am being denied immediate care for my son who has a ticking time bomb in his head.
