I called this morning in pain (told her so) & I was told to call back at 1pm because this is when they did phone interviews for new patients (odd) I called back at one on the dot. I was asked my age(59) insurance (tricare & blue cross)& why I was asking to come to this doctor. I said because my doctor doesn't prescribe pain meds and I needed something stronger than ibuprophen. The woman proceeded to tell me "we don't describe those either" (she works in a doctors office and doesn't know the difference between those two words?) I thought she was rude, she could have told me this this morning so I could've made an appt with someone else. She made me feel like I was drug seeking. I hurt my back for God's sake! People in pain shouldn't be treated like criminals. What kind of health care office are you running there? Your employees are illiterate to boot!
