Dr. James Robert Lloyd, MD

Dr. Lloyd was a bit of a character, and I can understand why some people might not like him, but he completely fixed my troublesome old back for 20 years, and I'm sorry that he wasn't in business when I needed him more recently.

I cannot find this MD at all, and all our records have disappeared totally. He left his practice years ago but I see a review that he did surgery on a pt in March, 3rd 2023. And May 9th 2022 when we were told he was closing his practice. Now I find out 2024 I met someone he did 18 surgeries on and 9 on me and 17 on someone else. This is not appropriate at all . then to find out he was fired by every hospital he worked for. If I could find him he would be sued for mal practice.

I had received a cervical fusion from Dr. Lloyd over 25 years ago......Best surgical results ever!......wish I could get a hold of him?????

Dr Lloyd did a really poor job of leaving his practice promising other neurosurgeons would take his pts and he would be joining them that never happened so he left all his pts with no one! Still has his profile online not sure why he isn’t working !

After getting all my test results pointing to a surgical procedure, I waited almost 2 months for a surgery date that never happened. Had minimal response to my several inquiries. Seeing another MD.

This Dr is terrible. I went for back pain and never recvd any help. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. No interaction. I would not recommend him to anyone! He spent all his time looking at his computer. They took blood work from me and than said they never took it. Something is very wrong with him.

If they ask for a comment than they should list ALL comments. I never write reviews but this time i felt compelled to do so. I went to Dr Lloyd for back pain help. I recvd no help. he spent 97% looking at his computer, no patient Dr interaction. I thought i was in the Twilight zone. He made me feel like i was wasting his time, in and out, see you next month....sent me for a MRI... read the MRI told me i had a herniated disc,,,, come to find out he was looking at a diff patient MRI. He wasn't a easy Dr to talk to. Dr Lloyd as very bad bedside manners. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody. Hes unhappy and it shows in his work. Dr Lloyd has had other bad reviews but for some reason those are erased. If you want a review than you should put all reviews up both good and bad. Shame on you Dr! I went to you for help and you treated me like a piece of gun stuck to the bottom of your shoe.

The best thing that I liked about Dr. Lloyd is that though you may spend some time waiting for him, you know that he will spend that extra time with you when you need it to make sure that things are right and accurate. He is very educated and it shows in the results of his work. You have to remember that behind this exterior there is brilliance and if he is not as funny as you want him to be it is because he has a gift of perfection when it comes to neurosurgery not a comic.

It's been over 3 years & I am without back pain. He is incredible & I am thankful to have had such a great outcome and thankful to have had such a great, caring surgeon.
