Dr. James Michael Mahalek, MD

Dr. James Mahalek has found the issues in my back when other doctors could not. He really knows his stuff and has surrounded himself with a great team. I have been thru two surgeries with Dr. Mahalek, because my spine is so bad. He will not operate unless it is really needed. I appreciate that he has high standards and does not operate when it is not necessary. If I have to have surgery on my spine in the future, he will be the only one on my list!

Very uncaring Dr., who does not listen to anything me has the patient said. A 1 rating for me is actually over rating him.

Would have gave him a zero on a couple of the questions

I had a cyst on a vertebra that cause me so much pain that I could not walk. I had spinal fusion. I am walking with no pain. Dr Mahalek and his staff are very caring people and want to,thank them. He is very skilled and knows his stuff, and would highly recommend Dr Mahalek and his staff. Thank You agian

I had spinal fusion and left hospital basically pain free. Dr Mahelek was super and I would recommend him to anyone who has back/spinal problems

My 16 year old daughter dislocated her ankle and fractured her leg during a softball game. Dr Mahalek was her doctor in the ER at Good Samaritan. He was very thorough and professional. I am shocked to read that someone said his bedside manner was bad - his bedside manner was exceptional! He was very caring and helpful. He made sure she was comfortable, and made sure I understood everything about the process that needed to be taken. I would highly recommend his services for anyone!

Dr Mahalek is great. I had major back surgery and recovered fast with minimal pain. He spent plenty of time with me on my visits. I would recommend him to anyone wanting excellent care.

Bedside manner left much to be desired. He did nothing to help my neck and back injuries. Overall experience was unfavorable.
