Dr. James Scott Manton, MD

I moved from Indiana to Chattanooga and left a doctor I loved. Dr. Hall is a hard act to follow, but Dr. Manton is someone I've come to trust. He's a little more reserved, which can come across as aloof, but I believe he cares about me and my health. My only complaint, and I don't know where the blame really lies, is that my procedures were scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and I didn't get taken back to the procedure room until 1:30. Then, I was put in the hallway by the procedure room and waited about another 15 minutes. That was really frustrating and I plan to talk to Dr. Manton about it when I see him.

Dr. Manton's Knowledge, and his ease with his patients to make them feel comfortable as well as informed. He asks lots of questions, so you feel that he is not making assumptions about you and your symptoms. I would reccomend him to anyone.

Have had several procedures with Dr Manton. He is complete in his diagnosis and accurate. Good "bedside manner" and thorough.
