Dr. James Wesley Miller, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Miller for a very long time. He is knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, and holds his patients accountable for their health and for that, I appreciate him. He gives sound medical advice for the care I am seeking. I respect him and want to hear what he advises to know how to correct the issue to become healthy again. He does care about his patients, but his patients have the responsibility for their health and to act on his advice. Healthcare is a partnership between your physician and you, and works well with open, honest communication. He is one of the best!

Dr. Miller is so knowledgeable and thorough. He really gets to the bottom of health issues. He tells it like it is, so expect to be held accountable for your health. But he's also caring and concerned about his patients. Several of my friends have relied on him for ongoing health care for years. He's also a sports medicine doctor, so he knows athletes and fitness issues incredibly well.

I moved away from Richmond to a small town on the eastern shore of Maryland....and I miss my doctor! Where I live now, it takes forever to get an appointment, I have to go to the hospital for x-rays and blood work and the care is not that great. I should have staying in Richmond!!

Used to be a decent practice. Now the doctors don't give you the time a day, and that's if you can get an appointment. I have been misdiagnosed the past two times I've been there, seemingly due to the doctors just not caring about their patients and giving them the time they deserve! Most recently I was told I had "just tweaked" my knee in a car accident. Got a second opinion and turns out my meniscus had been torn in half. Needed arthroscopic surgery. Stay away from these folks if you want diligent, quality care.

Wonderful physician, very professional. Beautiful office, wonderful staff. Love that they can do my xrays and labs while I'm there and don't have to go elsewhere.Completely full service!

Dr. Miller is highly intelligent, methodical, tenacious, assertive, and knowledgeable in his specific areas of expertise and many others as well, enhancing his abilities with ongoing education.His skills make him popular and, therefore, sometimes difficult to get a regular appointment with; however, emergency appts are given as necessary.His offices (on Winterfield Rd now)are very comfortable and well appointed and his staff are all excellent.Dr. Miller is great for now and then health difficulties, but he is truly exceptional when working on long term health problems.
