Dr. Mok was referred to me as a consult to assist my psychiatrist and my rheumatologist in determining a plan of action for numbness/pain in my arm that radiates to my pinky finger. After having an MRI, both my psychiatrist and he discussed the results and possible courses of action. One was an EMG, which I cancelled because I will not tolerate that procedure well. However, Dr. Mok was extremely kind and patient with all my questions. Truly he gives you the info and you make the decision on how to move forward with it. At this point, being that it was only a consult, there was no definitive action taken, as I decided I could not tolerate an EMG. I felt very at ease in the office. The staff are amazing!

He is an amazing spine surgeon, for me as a person who has never had surgery in his life, I was nervous... He listened to me and explained my options and having really good bed-side manner, I feel good now and he did a great job for doing surgery on my C6&7 disc replacement(mobi c)

he knows his field and I felt being listened, I was suffering from C6-7 disc herniated for almost 3 years. he did explain my options which was fusion and Mobi-c. I am feeling good now 3 days after my surgery. if you are looking for caring DR , he is the one you MUST visit

PLEASE DONT WAIT! End your suffering W/ Dr Mok! I had suffered from Spinal Stenosis for 4 years and I came across Dr Mok. I believe everything happens for a reason and the 4 years I lost was worth every second of pain to have landed in Dr Moks care! Day of operation I was terrified yet Dr Moks entire team held my hands from the time I was put under to when I woke up free of the pain I had suffered so long. He gave me my life back and that is something I can not thank him enough for!

An amazing man with such positive energy. Dr Mok performed my recent cervical fusion. He’s caring , concerned , and easy to talk with. I feel he genuinely cares about his patients.

Dr.Mok yes I am going to miss him at the university he preformed 3 surgeries on me, and I really needed it,and it helped me a lot, thank you Dr. Mok one of yr favorite patient Ernestine Milner.

I can't say enough good thing's about Dr Mok . He is Kind Caring and very Understanding. Doctors like him are so very hard to come by and when you find one you have to stick with them. Dr Mok is certainly a keeper ! He preformed my back surgery back in 2015 and has done 3 of my husbands. We would not go to anyone else and would definitely recommend him to anyone in need. Yes he is leaving UIC but definitely going to follow him for follow up care.

I was sad to hear Dr. Mok is leaving the University of Chicago medicine and going to Dupage Medical group. I live in La Porte Indiana and was seeing him in Crown Point Indiana. Dr. Mok performed spine surgery on me in May 2018 & did an excellent job.

Dr. Mok preformed two surgeries on my spine. He did a surgery that not many Surgeons would want to attempt and thanks to him I am recovering nicely. I am 82yrs old and had a heart attack. It was an emergency. Dr Mok is very personable and easy to talk to. I like him.
