very rude , works with the company you got hurt at instead of working for patient..thinks he is funny with his stories but ...BORING .. couldnt and didnt answer my questions ..did not help my problem ..

He seemed like a nice guy at first but then when my wife complained of pain 6wks out after surgery he became very angry and hostile in front of us and residents. He had some quirky idea he could fix my wife with a tendon graft or shoulder replacement. We said no because he wouldnt provide stronger pain relief and in 15 appointments and 1 surgery we saw him 3 times.the rest were residents who had no clue and dismissed us.i feel so so sorry for my wife and others in pain. Dont go here they only wanna make a buck on your pain....do no harm my butt...Good one Dr Nepola. Thank you for the no call backs and having your secretary ignore us.!!! We chose Mayo Clinic.

I had recently ended my time with dr nepola via thru workcomp ending it. but I never got to thank dr nepola personally ,so here I am publicly thanking you the best way I can ,you are a great doctor and I feel like a friend I could sit down and visit about anything .keep up the hikeing I hope you make 14000 ft one day and brag to all who know you ,thankyou for helping me and being honest that meant a lot to me . larry lane

This Dr has terrible bedside manners and compared a chronic pain patient to a heroin addict. We are there for help not to be ridiculed in front of residents. I felt like an experiment in the clinic and whenthis dr gave me the(magic shot) wink wink he didnt even wash his hands or use gloves. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS HOSPITAL PERIOD.

Let me start off by telling you a little about my injuries. "Right Shoulder Injury 14 years ago 1995. Needed partial replacement done in 2009.Before this had several injection done.Dr.Nepola will explain everything clearly to you before any procedures or surgery.He will go into great detail about what you as his patient can expect.Dr.Nepola performed a, total shoulder replacement, as well on me. At that time he gave specific instructions on getting in contact with him if needed after surgery. He has a sense of humor as well as a compassion for what you, as his patient are going through he offers not only to be your doctor but also he offers his friendship as a medical professional.Nevertheless anyone in need of a fanatastic amazing outstanding no holds bar surgeon he is the surgeon to see Dr.Nepola > University of Iowa. Iowa City Iowa.

A absolute wonderful man. Who doesn't not waste time and gives an accurant diagnosis and gives you your options the same day. I loved the way he said these are your choices, think about it, and then we will fix the problem. Wish surgery could have been scheduled a lot sooner then it was - 2 months out is a long wait.

I think he really spends time with you, finds the problem, and takes care of you very well.
