Dr Karimi saved my daughters life and for that I owe him my own.

It has now been a year since our lives were changed by the hands of a stranger. I was so nervous to meet him; so afraid, so hopeful, and so happy that God put the right person right next to us, only 45 minutes away. We wouldn’t need to drive to Boston, we wouldn’t need to go anywhere. Everything we needed was here, right in our home state, by our house. When we were in his office, listening to how he would proceed with my unborn child, to save her, I could barely hear him. I was just sitting there with my thoughts, waiting for the minute I could walk out and cry more. That was all I was doing since the very first day I heard that Sarah would be born with a heart defect. I would just sit wherever I was, crying and thinking: “There’s got to be a reason for me to be getting a daughter with a heart defect. If God wanted to fix it, he wouldn't have made her this way.” So I didn't pray. I didn’t ask Him for a change. But I did tell every person I could and I asked them to pray for… Sarah. I just felt like I wasn't the one to do it. You don't complain about a present you get. I would take her no matter what. But when I was sitting at the cardiac surgeon’s office, going through my thoughts, and I heard that guy, who’s name I couldn't even pronounce, say “I’ve done it. We can do it again.” Those were the words that kept echoing in my head until the day she came home. That stranger, who’s name I can now say, pronounce, and even spell, has NO idea but he is part of my day, everyday. He is part of my life, my happiness, my family. Sarah has his fingerprints in her heart. He saved her. And I am just SO grateful for him. When he took Sarah at 9 days old into the operating room, he said to us “Beyond these doors she is my daughter.” I still hear that when I look at her. And it makes me so happy to think about how many daughters and sons this man would have. Sarah is just one, we know he has saved so many. The Riccitelli family wants the world to know this doctor who is just humble enough to tell you that he will try, but will literally save your life. We ask God to bless him and all the ones he loves everyday. Now I know, God sent me Sarah with a heart defect because he had someone ready to save her. In a few days Sarah will be turning one, and so will my gratitude towards this man. Thank you Doctor Mohsen Karimi. Thank you for saving Sarah.

The negative reviewer must be talking about a different doctor because Dr. Karimi has great rapport with his patients and families. He spends a lot of time following up and making sure that they are being taken care of.

I never saw this man in an office. He took care of me at a hospital in Iowa. His general attitude toward women was terrible. His treatment (of a VERY complicated problem) was horrible. I lived through his treatment only to be plagued with nightmares for months, not to mention that my life has been changed not only emotionally but physically forever. DO NOT LET THIS MAN TAKE CARE OF YOU OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBER!!!
