Dr. James Tam Ngo, DO

Although there may be reviews that he doesn't truly care about his patients, I can say from my own experience that this is not the case. In fact, Doctor Ngo has shown a genuine concern for my well-being and has been more attentive to my health than any other doctor I've had in the past. He has promptly responded to my emails and has been extremely helpful when it comes to healthcare. Unlike some of the doctors I've encountered before, he is not rude and actually takes the time to provide important results. Overall, Doctor Ngo has been a great physician and far surpasses many other doctors I've had.

Dr James Ngo seems to not genuinely care. I have been to him about my chief complaint several times and it seems to be brushed off. He does not communicate, he does not reply to emails and prefers to communicate through his MA. He will not listen to what you are actually saying and just says what he wants to say and that's it. Basically does not listen.

My husband was a patient of Dr. Ngo for a number of years. He suffered with COPD. Complained for years of pain in left chest and shortness of breath. Lost his ability to hear and in last years. Numerous visits to doctor resulted in no relief . Visit to Dr. Cabrera suggested he should be under a lung specialist . Instead Dr. Ngo sent him to a breathing test. Couldn't perform breathing test, because of inability to hear. went back to Dr. Ngo several days later, because of pain in chest and breathing problems. Dr. Ngo sent him to Xray, read results as double pneumonia, sent him home with antibiotics (88 years old) Came home, passed out coming in the door, died six days later. Does pneumonia last for years. It's a known fact doctors can't keep people alive when their time comes to die, if properly diagnosed can alleviate some of the suffering. When one cannot diagnose or administer helpful treatment, one should refer to other specialist. It's too hard to watch your loved ones suffer and… you can't help them nor get help for them. I hope this helps other families prevent going through this.
