Dr. James Gregory Parles, MD

Dr Parles treated my daughter for the first four years of her life, several years ago. We left the office because the Dr, was narrow minded and would never take into consideration the things that, we as her parents, would say. My daughter was over medicated and constantly sick until we found another pediatrician that was willing to work with her body and what she really needed. I would think twice before letting Dr. James Parles treat your child.

We took our child to Dr. Parles on reference from friends who had him as the Pediatrician for their 2 children. We are not "holistic" types and basically went along with whatever the Dr. said. After the first round of vaccines (9 in one visit) our child had a bad reation, passing out immediately after and not faring well for a few days after...not as alert as he had been and miserable. After this happened, we started researching all the vaccines that had been given. On the next few visits, we asked Dr. Parles only to give the required vaccines (not the recommended)and to stagger them over more frequent visits instead of hammering through as many as possible at once into a child with a developing immune system. Keep in mind, we did not say "no vaccines". A few weeks later we received a letter saying that the practice would not care for our child any longer. In short, don't go to Dr. Parles if you want to have any say in your childs health care. If you don't tow the AAP schedule,… you don't see him. This is the same AAP that has endorsed Statin drug use in kids. Follow the money. The AAP adamantly says it would not risk the health of children for the millions in contributions it gets from Pharmaceutical companies. You can make your own decision on that.

He was my pediatrician when I was a kid and now he is my son's doctor and he is one of the best out there, I refuse to have my baby see anybody else

He is a very nice doctor. He gets along with kids very nicely. Getting an appointment with him is a little difficult task except sick visits.He gives lot of precautionary measures too. I love this doctor and my daughter is being treated by Dr. James Parles for past 4 years.
