Do not let this man touch you! I let him do a chemical vein ablation on me 10 days ago. I’ve had nothing but problems since. In extreme pain. He admitted the needle slipped out of the vein when trying to insert the foam. I have so much more pain than I did before. Him and his team are just ignoring me. This is why people have no faith in the medical system anymore. I would leave a more detailed review but I’m in so much pain and so exhausted this will have to do. Just do not go to this doctor for anything I’m telling you, you will regret it! He doesn’t explain anything either. Just breezes through everything very overly confident attitude (for lack of a better word, the website is not allowing)

Horrible experience. Worst Doctor EVER!

Had a varicose vein that needed attention. At first everything was smooth and we got approval through my insurance to have surgery. This was when he was changing from UH to private practice. Since the surgery wouldn't be at UH, I had to verify that he would be covered under my insurance. Getting that verified was like pulling teeth. Insurance didn't see him in the network but needed either an NPI ID or Tax ID to verify. Called his office and they said they wouldn't give it to me, only the insurance company. Called insurance, said that the office would have to call the insurance company then to verify. After MULTIPLE calls (about 6), I finally got the Tax ID. Surgery went fine, as far as I know so far. Then they scheduled a 6-week follow up appointment for an ultra sound to see if blood is flowing through again. They send me to his old UH office and I get notified that I have to go to his Orange office for the ultrasound. This was the THIRD time I wasted a vacation/personal day and… not had service. Twice they sent me to the wrong office, once he had an emergency. Dr. Persky was fine, but everything about this process was absolutely horrid. Would not recommend due to the constant headache.
