This frequently presents as urinary incontinence (stress and urgency), trouble emptying your bladder, pelvic pain, painful intercourse and/or trouble with bowel movements. These symptoms frequently worsen over the years and are accepted as normal aging or the trade-off of having children. While both factors may play a role in advancing pelvic prolapse, that does not mean patients must suffer from it. Dr. Robertson evaluates and provides both surgical and nonsurgical treatments, when appropriate.

Dr. Robertson attended LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Medicine before completing his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and he is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG).
