Dr. James Joseph Ronzo, DO

Was an existing patient and they would not reschedule me kept telling me they would call me back with an appointment. They never call back. Did a little investigation and see they no longer accept my insurance. Why did they not just call me and let me know so I could move onto another doctor? This is totally unacceptable.

Saw dr ronzo twice, good thing I was seeing other doctors for many opinions, he couldn’t even tell what the problem was, and I after I saw other doctors I just knew that he was maybe just a doctor for easy going surgery but not for real ones, very unprofessional and you don’t feel comfortable even sitting with him, rude and arrogant

I wouldn't go to anyone else

My first visit was with a PA and he was very nice but kept telling me I'd be OK over and over and not telling me anything I could understand that was wrong. I was terrified of what was going on with my spine and so felt he was being phony and then he left me in the room, said he'd be back in a minute and never showed up again. Dr. Ronzo is indeed what appears to be rushed but everyone I knew who had surgery was happy so I based that on my decision and I was told he would talk to me before surgery and I could cancel up to that time. I was terrified and waited for him to ask him about drugs I'd be given but he didn't show. I had the surgery and afterwards he still didn't show (of course, they didn't promise that) I was happy with the surgery (but not the drugs I was given for pain) but needed a followup with the dr. and that doesn't happen unless you ask specifically and wait a long time. I think basically he will do your surgery and do a good job but don't depend on any closeness or… bedside manner altho his PAs are probably good in that area, if it's not phony, and he relies on them for all of that I'm sure. I think for that serious a surgery they need to have some 'devotion' to the patient even if it takes more time. It could be that Medicare only allows so much time like 15 min. and they can't do too much talking in that time. Just a thought.

Wait time at this office 1-2 hours. Didn't provide exam. His PA did exams initially. Dr. Ronzo reviewed my first scan & discussed a future procedure. Then in my second visit he entered room didn't remember why I was there. Reviewed. 2nd scan and didn't reference any correlation to the previous diagnosis until I brought it to his attention. Will not have any procedure going forward with Dr. Ronzo, as his coy & dismissive manner was offensive.

I had heard this was the doctor to see but was shocked at how rude and unprofessional he was.

I had surgery with Ronzo, in 2012 what a mistake is been 2 years and in lots of pain since. The last time I saw doctor after surgery, I told him my insurance was no longer active and he just gave me a paper with exercises positions and to this date never have gotten a call from their office. at the hospital after surgery I saw Ronzo only 1 time for 1 minute and he disappear. It was very upsetting to have been treated by this so call office and not to mention Doctors. Wont even recommend their names. too bad I cant put more comments on this. worst yet I had to spent 14 days in rehab.

After hearing of Dr. Ronzo ' s successful outcomes...I scheduled my father to see him. My Dad was almost disabled after years of hard work. Dr. Ronzo recommended surgery. ...This is the greatest decision we could have ever made. He is living pain free with a new outlook on life. Can't thank the staff and Dr. Ronzo enough for the quality of care. Amazing!

I never even got my foot in the door to this place. First they told me they were in network for my insurance, then said to make sure I bring $160 for each visit to them. If they were in network, I would have only have a small copayment. They didn't want to hear anything from me, just wanted my money. Then said I had to call my insurance company for authorization for surgery. Who said I needed surgery? The man has never set eyes on me! This place is only after the almighty dollar and my body is not for sale!

The entire staff is very professional, yet friendly. Dr Ronzo will answer all your questions until you understand the procedure.
