James Garrett Rushing, MD

James “Garrett” Rushing, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Intermountain Health’s Northern Utah Pediatrics in Ogden, Utah. He supports patients and their families in Ogden, North Ogden, South Weber, and surrounding communities providing comprehensive care for children of all ages. He is dedicated to supporting families through every stage of childhood, from routine wellness visits to more complex medical needs.

He enjoys caring for a wide variety of pediatric patients but is especially drawn to children with serious or complex medical conditions. Dr. Rushing considers it a privilege to help parents navigate challenging questions and decisions, always with the goal of supporting the health and well-being of their child.

Dr. Rushing’s philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that each child is uniquely created, and that care should be thoughtfully tailored to reflect each child’s individual needs. He strives to provide compassionate, personalized …care for every patient and family he serves.

Outside of work, Dr. Rushing enjoys spending time with his wife—his best friend—and their three sons.
