Dr. James Gregg Sigmon, MD

At 70 years old, I've had several physicians and dreaded having to find a new one after mine retired; LUCKILY I FOUND DR. SIGMON. What a WONDERFUL DOCTOR he is! He listens and explains as necessary with his rare extraordinary bedside manner. After the most thorough physical I have had in years, he explained why some of my issues were happening so that I now understand why some medicines are needed and how I might better help to correct my concerns. I never felt rushed and felt his full attention was on me. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his advice has been really helpful and put me at ease. His staff is as wonderful as he. I am confident that I am in very capable hands since finding him and his practice.

Is very good about asking questions about your health. Doesn't try to sell you vitamins. Proactive about preventative services. Listens to all your concerns.

FRONT OFFICE HELP VERY RUDE. THE WAIT IS TERRIBLE. IF NO NEED TO MAKE APPT, YOU WILL WAIT FOREVER ANYWAY, I HAVE TO SAY LISA AND DR,SIGMON ARE NICE BUT THE STAFF THERE RUINS THE PRACTICE, I WILL NEVER RETURN.

Great Doc. Lisa and Shantell are the best nurses I have seen.

Is very easy to talk to. Doctor is nice but staff is a little short with you over the phone. Doctor asks lots of questions. Doesn't stare at computer screen the whole time like some, uses paper mostly. Very big on preventative care.

Dr. Sigmon is an excellent doctor; he has been my doctor for over 20 years. His staff is very friendly and professional.

Dr. is pleasant and straightforward. Tells it like it is. Good with preventative care and doubled checked what was needed. Also my teenager likes coming here as staff is very nice. He is good with kids. Doesn't push a lot of vitamins or pills on you.

I would not recommend this doctor, longest wait ever, bad bed side manner, very confusing place to be seen. No comfortable with him. Lisa is not very nice, heard her complaining in office and on the phone. Not very nolligable about medicine. Will be finding a new doctor soon.

Extremely knowledge able of the latest information and medical research. Made me feel comfortable and was very thorough. Figured out underlying cause of my condition and a few other symptoms I've had that other Doctors I have been too could not figure out. I highly recommend him and will definitely go back anytime I am sick. The wait was a bit long because he was busy that day but it was well worth it.

My husband and I are seniors and find Dr. Sigmon to be very thorough and caring for his patients. If he can't diagnose your problem, he's careful to refer you to the best doctor in his opinion/experience in Eastern Carolina. Lisa, his Nurse and the Lab Tech are friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful, caring and answers every question i've ever asked.
