Good doctor

Dreadfully rude man. Has a clear issue with assertive patients who ask sensible questions. Makes you feel most uncomfortable. Bedside manner very much absent! Find another Dr if you can. These NYU orthopedic Dr’s leave a lot to be desire.

This surgeon is amazing! I cannot believe how great he is! Surgeons like him have to be born with greatness and the incredible ability to perform surgery! Dr. Slover has a wonderful staff also...very accommodating and extremely helpful which I am certain he requires of his staff!

I recently had occasion to consult Dr. Slover concerning some unwanted consequences of hip replacement surgery by another surgeon. He provided me with a rational and anxiety-relieving explanation for my symptoms. I am a physician and not easily impressed!

I was very nervous about having my knees replaced. Dr. Slover was very kind and patient with me, and in no time I was back to my normal routein..

Dr. Slover did my left knee replacement in Nov. 2014 and I have to say he is just awesome. My surgery went well and my scar looks great and mostly I have no issues with my knee replacement. I will say that your knee will heal based on how much of your therapy you do. You get out what you put in. I didn't want to walk with a cane or walker so I was dedicated to doing everything that I needed to do because with my vain attitude I didn't want to be cripple not yet anyway. However it's been almost 5yrs and still No Complaints. Like I said Dr. James Slover is AWESOME.

Dr. Sliver is an excellent surgeon. I experienced severe pain due to complications from the earlier implant. Dr. Slover's expert hands saved me from a life of pain!

Dr. Slover saved my mother's life. She has surgery at a different hospital followed by rehab where her hip was dislocated and no one did anything about it for approximately one week. When she was finally readmitted, she went through a series of mishaps. Dr. Slover agreed to take over her care. After several surgeries including treatment for an infection, she is on her way to recovery. Throughout the last 3 years, he has been attentive, clear, honest, receptive and always responds to both mine and my mother's inquiries, emails and phone calls. He has a fabulous staff, especially Jane Frattini, his office manager. He assembled the best team for my mother's care. Both my mother an I are extremely grateful to him. We got through these last few years because of him and his staff.
