Very irresponsible Dr and office staff. They rescheduled my appointment then i went to see him waited hour after long waiting i ask whats the problem they told me doctor is leaving he can’t see you today.The rest i want you imagine what happened in that office when you in pain you ended that kind of situation.Worst experience i had in my life.Shame on this doctor who doesn’t care about people.

Dr. Ya I Ian was so kind and caring while I was in the hospital. He was able to answer all of my questions and go over anything that I had concerns about. He saved my husband's life. My husband had recurrent bleeding and had been scoped by numerous doctors before we met Dr. Tabibian in the hospital. He used a special scope which allowed him to find where the bleeding was coming from (the small intestine) and treat it. It's been over a month since the procedure, and not a trace of bleeding. The whole family was immensely impressed by his kindness and healing touch. Highly highly recommend him.

Really a gentleman of a doctor with superb training under his belt. I was referred to him by my primary GI given his expertise with my condition. Couldn't be more pleased with all that he did for me-- plus he's kept my primary doc in the loop with everything from both our initial visit and follow-ups. I'm planning to refer my cousin to him as well.

We saw Dr Tabibian per the recommendation of a GI we know, said he was the top doctor in our region for our daughter's rare disease (she has IBD and was more recently found to have liver problems). He made the right diagnosis ("Primary sclerosing cholangitis") within a day and outlined a care and follow-up plan-- was very reassuring for my daughter and really all of us. We give him our highest recommendations and are planning to see him in about a year at UC Davis.

I echo all the positive comments in the other reviews. What I enjoyed in particular is that he has old-fashioned manners (e.g. listens, doesn't interrupt, etc.) yet is young, cutting-edge, and very knowledgeable. I went to him for a one-time 2nd opinion, but might just make the drive to go back to him from now on.

I was referred to Dr. Tabibian by a friend who saw him for a rare bile duct condition. I posted a similar comment on healthgrades but was so impressed by Dr. Tabibian that I thought I should share this review on another site as well. He essentially got me schedule for a GI procedure within a week and gave me the results of my procedure that same day. He called me 2 days later with biopsy results, answered all my questions, and left me with peace of mind. Very grateful, sad that he will be moving to California.

Phenomenal bedside manner and skills. Since I saw Dr. T I have referred a family member and a close friend of mine, both of whom were extremely happy with him.

Really grateful for everything he did for my wife and I. We bonded with him right of the bat, and he's been there for us ever since.

If you havetroublesome/serious digestive health problems and want a smart doctor with impeccable pedigree and medical knowledge coupled with great humility and bedside manner, this is your guy. I have already referred several close friends and family members to him, and as with me, he diagnosed their problem right off the bat and outlined a management plan based on national guidelines and my personal preferences. He's the best mix of evidence-based and personalized care.
