Dr. James Martin Ulery, MD

Was rude and arrogant. I had angular chelitis and he told me it would clear up on it's own. It was very uncomfortable and sore and the area was bothering me. I went to a different dermatologist and they gave me a prescription ointment to put on it that cleared it up and relieved the discomfort. I would never recommend this doctor.

I had a huge rash the size of a grapefruit accompanied with multiple long welts under my breast. He took one peek at it, swiftly saying it’s an age spot. “ age spot, impossible“! I went home, found Dr. Darius, made an appointment. He to took one look and said that it’s not, NOT, an age spot, he took a sample. 10 days later, It is a fungus caused by a yeast infection. Dr. Ulery use to be a highly regarded doctor, not sure what has happened.

My mom had melanoma on her nose and something on her eyelid that was a size of a pencil eraser. He told her she would have to go to an ophthalmologist for that one. Turns out it was a blackhead that was never addressed for over a year. The ophthalmologist took care of it right there, two seconds. Shouldn’t the dermatologist know that for what it is?

The staff is very rude and NOT courteous

Quiet, pleasant office. Staff are efficient with paperwork, some appear to be in training. Doctor is direct about diagnosis and treatment options.

Went to see Ulery for a small scar on the corner of my mouth. Was told he would blast the blood vessels with a laser to make them disappear. When I asked about the recovery time he said that it would be a few days of redness max. Today is the 11th full day since treatment and I have literally have a hole in my face in the area that he used the laser. I am completely ashamed that I actually paid for this guy to make a small scar much more noticeable. I feel like I was lied to and robbed. Thanks!

Physician was very professional and answered all my questions. Did not feel I was being rushed or part of the "medical production line" that now exists in most physicians offices.

Staff is AMAZING! Doctor Ulery is very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Wait time can be a little long but what doctors office isn't, and the kind and relaxed atmosphere more than make up for it. I highly recommend Dr. Ulery!!

I would definitely refer anyone to him. He was very personable. He wanted to make sure I understood everything he was telling me as far as care for my diagnosis. He suggested things I could do to prevent the same condition from happening again. Finally he didn't ask me to keep coming back, only if I needed to.
