Dr. James Henry Walter, MD

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. James Walter. During my appointment, he wrote one new prescription for sleep and then abruptly ended the session, saying, my time was up. He then starts walking toward the door repeatedly saying, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry” until he was out the door. He didn’t review the results of my recent labs or CT scan, which I believe were crucial to understanding my condition. He left me sitting in his office with no explanation to why he ended the session after what might have been 5 or 6 minutes. I left the office feeling unheard and concerned that important aspects of my health were ignored. My opinion of James Walter : immature, unprofessional and unacceptable as a PCP. I hope this feedback encourages more thorough and attentive care for future patients. James, what you did to me is NOT COOL!

The above review certainly does not reflect the Dr. James Walter I know, who is kind, caring, very smart and very professional. Plus, the review is from sometime in October 2025 and Dr. Walter left the HealthTexas clinic in August 2025.
