Dr. James Bernard Watson, DO

I really don't know what doctor the people leaving bad reviews saw, but it sure doesn't sound like Dr. Watson. He takes his time and explains everything to his patients so they understand the treatment. His receptionist, Francine, is friendly and generally awesome. This is the only doctor I've ever seen, and I've seen many, that gets prior authorizations done promptly.They are just great, everyone who works there. I'd sure love to know what the one reviewer would possibly consider a malpractice suit for. I'm quite curious what their damages are. I highly doubt Dr. Watson was negligent in any way. Many doctors ask for cash, if they don't take your particular insurance. This is not wrong or illegal. If that's your main beef, you must not be very familiar with doctors. Dr. Watson isn't an ophthalmologist or optometrist to my knowledge so if he didn't treat your eyes to your liking, maybe see an eye specialist? What I know him for is helping hundreds of drug addicts get sober, with the… lifesaving drug buprenorphine He's the best doctor of this type I've seen. He's just great. Ignore the other reviews. I have never had any problems with him or his office.

I considered a malpractice suit against this doctor for his poor care. Plus he wants cash payments,even though I have great inisurance. BEWARE!

The worst experience ever with a doctor. He is a money-hungry salesman. He actually worsened my health concern.

The doctor was nice his receptionist who made the appointment is incompitent and did not tell me they only do eye exams for glasses not contacts and instead of getting an apology she tryed to blame me and said she told me they only do exams for glasses which she did not definitely do not recommend this place needs a better receptionist who have better people skills.

Love this Doctor and staff always nice I had bad pain and I went to so many doctors about my pain and none of them could not do anything for me I got to the point that I gave up but when I went to this doctor he took the time out to figure out what was wrong I haven't had no pain at all and it's been 4 years

Don't waste your time, money, or most importantly don't put your health in this man's hands.

This doctor is an absolute scam. He sounds like a broken record and says the same things over again. All he cares about is the money he's making. Doesn't care about his patients just that you keep coming back. There were times I didn't even see him, the lady in the front would write me a script or phone in my script. Stay away, there are better doctors in the area who will take you seriously.

Terrible experience. Expensive, out of pocket, does not take insurance. Rude, not interested in practicing medicine, only in selling. Did not take responsibility for horrible side effects of his treatment.

I agree with some of the other reviews here. This doctor provides very poor healthcare, only interested in out-of-pocket "treatments" and will not even take my good blue cross insurance. He's selling snake oil too!

Terrible experience. Will never go again. If you go, bring lots of cash and low expectations.
