Dr. James Sheahan Wilk, MD

I've seen Dr. Wilk a few times and each time he rushed through the appointment, didn't want me asking questions and overall, did not help me with my issues. This last appointment he told me to do my own research on a condition, instead of him telling me about it. At the end of the appointment he just turned his back and left the room. Didn't say goodbye, hope you feel better.. nothing. I do not recommend him to anyone and would stay away. Even for something simple like a rash he is ineffective.

I will not go to anyone else!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Willk for over 20years &I can't imagine a finer doctor anywhere or a greater guy than him! He has always treated me with his kind manner,a big smile as if he's truly glad to see me, even after all these years. He makes sure I understand everything about my care,answers all my questions & gives me such comfort wheather its physical or emotional issues I'm dealing with. The best is the fact he's stuck it out with me all through the years & I believe he is absolutely the best& I'm lucky to have realized that 20 years ago as I do still!!

I have always had a good experience with the doctor he takes his time to explain things to me and never makes me feel rushed. The office staff is great any time I need to see the doctor they get me in within a couple of days, I have never had a issue with them being rude.

I have been a patient there for about 9 years now. I love the staff! Dr. Wilk is very kind and upfront with information. I at one time saw another MD but I don't feel they had the knowledge that Dr. Wilk does. I feel comfortable with anything I need to ask them. I don't ever see my self having any other PCP

Dr. Wilk is a great doctor - smart, helpful, understanding. His office is very disorganized, no computerized systems, it is very difficult to get an appointment same day or same week when you have a problem. If you need a refill, expect to have to call the office at least 3 or 4 times. Too frustrating.

Dr. Wilk was the on-call doctor when my mom's blood pressure spiked to over 200/99 - for two days...1st, her primary doctors' office did not call me back for 3 hours... then, when they did, they told me to take her to urgent care - Before I took her to urgent care, she had a horrible nose bleed that would not stop...took her to urgent care, they could not help due to not being able to dispense blood pressure medicine. Then I called "ask a nurse" to find out what she should take.. she told me to call the on-call doctor.. which was Dr. Wilk. He was obviously TOO busy to take the time to help, and actually yelled at me ... He is an arrogant, non-compassionate person who was more interested in telling me his issues..WOW - what a total jerk and a complete discredit to doctors.. He ended up making me cry.. as if I was not frustrated enough over trying to figure out how to control my mom's high blood pressure.. It is 11:30 PM, just spend 2 hours at the ER, and finally, we have it under… control. I should have gone there in the first place instead of being treated so badly from her doctor, the on-call doctor and urgent care.... I will know better next time and I will find her a better doctor also...

I have never had a problem with this doctor he is thorough and his staff gets the job done. The receptionist is a bit rude but his assistant is very nice.

The front office staff is ALWAYS very rude. They talk to you like you owe them something, put you on hold for a long time, don't respond to your requests until you call several times and beg, etc.
