Dr. James Robert Wirkkula JR., DO

I set up an appointment to see this doctor, along with my 87 year old father who just was released from the hospital the day before with three broken ribs. We had seen this doctor in the past. We missed an appointment. He came into the room without even saying hello, sat down and literally shouted at the both of us for missing the appointment. He yelled at us so loud, you could hear it in the lobby! My dad is 87 years old and senior citizens, especially who have very bad diabetes, a bad heart which is in Afib can't always make an appointment due to recent falls, illnesses with bowel issues and urine issues and hospital admittance. The rudeness and lack of compassion this "doctor" showed us was the worst I have seen or could have imagined. He should have sent us a notice or a letter, or just came into the room and politely and professionally declined us, rather than berate a sick senior about how irresponsible he was for missing his appointment. This doctor should receive NO… stars because of his rudeness, total lack of compassion. We needed him the most and he treated us like dirt. I feel sorry for anyone who walks into his office after the way he behaved during his office visit.

I have the utmost respect for Dr. Wirrkula, he's seen me through many trials and been there looking out for my best interest always, he tells it like it is in a way I'm OK with. If only I could listen to all his advice, I truly appreciate him and his staff, thank you for caring.!
