Dr. James Gibson Wittig, MD

I have never had a problem getting in to see him and he is very thorough.

Dr Wittig was great, he spent more time with me than expected, no feeling of being rushed. He was friendly, and unlike a couple doctors I've seen recently, he was knowledgeable about every question I had for him. He is very technical, but not in a way that is confusing or hard to understand.

Dr. Wittig is a all around great Dr. I have been going to him for years. but not until today did I realize what a top notch Dr. He really is. After a visit to a Urologist for a UTI, I was told you pulled a muscle in your back! I am in my 50s and know the difference. I was in so much pain called Dr. Wittig's office and they fit me right in. Dr. Wittig examed me and confirmed not only did I have a UTI but the infection traveled to my kidneys.

Dr. Wittig is uncaring, condescending, and lacks empathy for his patients. He does not listen to patient concerns and is very judgmental. Ashamed and disappointed that someone like this has a license to practice medicine. Does more harm than good.

I was livid when I left this office and not getting a single referral right after being hospitalized for abdominal pain, anemia and chest pain. Dr. Jessica Long at this office was rude, uncaring and negligent. I was shocked by the treatment I got by the staff, which then lied and told me I missed three appointments and could not make a follow up visit when I tried to see Dr. Wittig at the same practice instead. Completely unethical and negligent place.

Went in to see Wittig with a fever. Upon examining my lungs, he asked about a mole I have had my entire life. He asked if I got it checked recently and I responded that I go to a dermatologist every 6th months. He recommended that I get it tested. When I went to my dermatologist the next week, she said it didn't need to be checked but out of professional courtesy she would have it examined. When the results came back, I had melanoma in the beginning stages. I had to have surgery to get about a half-dollar sized piece of skin removed. If it had not been for Wittig's experience and good eye, I may have had advanced melanoma before anything could be done about it. Dr. Wittig is a professional with who I have a great respect for. He is great with my children and they are fearless when coming to the doctor. Thumbs up!
