Dr. James Patrick Woods, MD

My husband and I met Dr. Woods in the emergency room in Reedsport last Thursday. My husband was in excruciating back pain. Dr Woods was very was very caring, he took the time to not only ask many questions , but to listen patiently to everything my husband had to say. He explained what was going on, why he prescribed the drugs and treatment, what to expect for recovery and why. We were so happy with him that we looked him up to see if he was possibly taking new patients in a practice appropriate to our needs.

Excellent doctor

My mother went to the emergency room with extream back pain and almost unable to walk. He told her it was arthritis and she should go home. She told him that she was sure there was something wrong and needed to be checked over. He yelled at her asking her if she was a doctor. She said no but knew something was seriously wrong. He got angry and said he would do an xray but when he got it back he was going to bring it back and she could burn it or tear it up. After 70 minutes waiting he returned with the results and just glared at her. He told her she had a cracked vertebrae. He walked behind her and stuck his finger in her back where the break was causing her to scream in pain. He then left the room. After that she went home. Nice huh?
