Dr. James Anthony Wrzosek, MD

My husband accidentally lacerated his cornea and was referred by our eye doctor to Dr. Wrzosek. He only comes to Reidsville on Thursdays so we had to wait. It was worth the wait! Dr. W and his staff are all amazing. His beside manner is outstanding, he is very down to earth, takes the time to get to know you before beginning diagnoses and treatment. He knew exactly what my husbands eye needed and he prescribed meds and gave him samples to begin treatment measures right away. He was so wonderful I decided to see him for my dry eye issue and distance vision. I wanted to explore options other than vision correction surgery. He allowed me to try different contact lenses for distance and near sightedness. It was so funny and my experience made me feel like a one eyed minion, so I went shopping for and found a one eyed minion to give to him as a gift. The minion is the office mascot. We had a hearty laugh about this. After this, we made an appointment for my mother and law who was 97 at… the time. She had been told by her eye doc that she had severe cataracts. Dr. Wrzosek spent time getting to know her as well, performed exams etc and discovered her cataracts were not severe at all. We fell in love with him and the staff and will be patients with them as long as they are in business. We will drive to Raleigh if we have to, he is just that great!!!
