I had an appointment today and, despite arriving within the appropriate time frame, I was told I would be marked as a no-show because I was “30 minutes late”—a statement that is simply untrue. When I attempted to clarify, the front desk receptionist responded with disrespectful tone and dismissive behavior that was entirely unprofessional. What made the experience particularly unacceptable is that I had driven through heavy traffic to get to this appointment and then again to return home without receiving the care I was scheduled for. To go through that effort, only to be met with inaccurate accusations and rude treatment, shows a complete disregard for patients’ time, well-being, and dignity. As someone who has been a patient of this practice for many years and who holds Dr. Levine in the highest esteem, I was deeply disappointed by the conduct I encountered today to see Dr. Dupree at this office. Dr. Levine has consistently demonstrated professionalism and genuine care—qualities… that were entirely absent in this interaction. This review is not about policies, which I fully respect—it is about how those policies are communicated and enforced. Accuracy and courtesy are the bare minimum expectation in healthcare administration, and today those standards were not met. I hope this matter receives the attention it deserves. A practice is only as strong as its front-line representation, and today’s experience reflected poorly on both Dr. Dupree and Clay Eye. Patients should never be penalized or spoken down to when they have done everything in good faith to attend their appointment.
