Dr. Jamie L Baisden, MD

I went to see Dr. Baisden looking for some clarity on a diagnosis from an MRI. She explained my diagnosis and helped me understand the qualifiers that would mean my condition would require surgery. She ordered the appropriate follow up tests and called me herself with the results. She did not sugar-coat the reality of how my recovery would go. It was going to be hard, and I knew it. In the end, this brilliant but down to earth woman gave me my life back. I strongly recommend Dr. Baisden.

Dr. Baisdens first question to me was are you trying to get disability! What? I felt and still feel horrible. Heads up lady I fell in a ro k shot bin for a rock crusher when I was 19! Been literally hit by a F350 while crossing a street, flipped a truck and had an abusive partner for 10 years. Hmm great to demoralize. Assume and demean your patients! Your not the one in pain and filling a person full of self doubt certainly does no good for anyone.

Jamie is an excellent surgeon, very thorough and understanding. She is highly regarded by the nursing staff and I could not be happier with my choice. She has a unique perspective among her peers based on her own personal experience. If you are looking for the best, she is it.

She doesn't listen to the patient. It's her word against the patient's and she will win even though she isn't the one with the problems. Therefore you walk out thinking well she cares only about herself I'd much rather go see another Dr. Never again! I'm going for a 2nd opinion and hoping to never go back.

Dr.Baisden is only looking for those people who have a clear cut case. She says one thing one day, and then something else the next. She is very well educated, but communicates things below average so that it is difficult to understand. Dr. Baisden will not hold her words back and I left crying from her office. I was told my condition was something I should just learn to deal with and that she wasn't doing anything for me.

What more could you ask for - Dr. Baisden is a great surgeon, plus she spends tons of time with you. She is extremely down to earth. I'm extremely happy with the results I've had from my surgery.
