Dr. Jamie Lynn Zaita, MD

I have used Dr. Zaita to deliver my second and third child. She was always wonderful.. Last year, when I had my yearly exam, she felt my neck and noticed that my thyroid was enlarged. Dr. Zaita had me get an ultrasound of my thyroid. I then learned that I had thyroid cancer! I had had no symptoms that I noticed. Luckily, the cancer was very small, less than a centimeter. I consulted a surgeon and had my thyroid removed. No more cancer. The surgeon said that it was incredible that Dr. Zaita was able to recognize that my thyroid was enlarged. Most OBGYN's do not even check for this. I am grateful and lucky to have Dr. Zaita as my OBGYN.

I recently had my fourth child with Dr Zaita. I can't imagine relying on any other Dr. Dr Zaita is the best, I can't say enough good things about her and her care.

Dr Zaita was incredibly good to me during my three high risk pregnancies. She utilizes extreme caution which paid off in the end. I cant say enough good things about her and Dr. Hodges. What an amazing team!

Dr. Zaita is just wonderful. I am talk with her and not feel rushed... She communicates well and in terms you can understand. I have been a patient of Dr. Zaita's for over 8 years as well as most of the females in my family. I have never had to wait longer than 3-5 days for non-emergency appointments to see her (outside annual exams). I totally trust Dr. Zaita's judgement/opinions.

Dr. Zaita was one of three doctors I saw during my pregnancy but the first I met when the pregnancy was confirmed. She brought my husband and I in to discuss everything with us as first time parents. She's quick and to the point but she's awesome and very competent. In fact, her frankness is what I like most about her. She also delivered my baby and was really great the entire time. She might have stitched me back up a little too tight (my only concern!) but she was AMAZINGLY supportive during delivery and I really trust her. I am now expecting baby number two and I HOPE she is my delivering doctor this time as well.

Dr. Zaita delivered my son 10 years ago and she has been a wonderful doctor ever since. She is quick, efficient and thorough with her exams, but takes the time to answer all my questions. She has a good sense of humor and always puts me at ease. I've even had to consult with her by phone a few times and she gave me great advice without asking me to come in for a visit. She is a fantastic doctor.

I just had a baby by C-section. My husband and I bought a brand new camcorder to record our baby's birth. Dr. Zaita didn't want us to videotape the whole operation, but she said she would tell us when she was ready to take my baby out so we can tape. My husband had the camcorder in his hand's the whole time, waiting for her to signal ok to begin taping. But she just pulled the baby right out of me without saying anything! We missed capturing our baby's once in a life time birth experience! When I asked her why, she just shrugged and said what's the big deal. The big deal? That's was my only baby and she was only born once! Once in a life time! That was it. I could never get that moment back. I wish she had just said no or didn't promise us. We had our hopes so high that we wanted to keep our baby's birth for the rest of our lives. But she denied us that opportunity because she was ignorant and didn't care about our feelings as a new parent. It was just another OR for… her. But that was our baby's only birth!
