Dr. Jamil Ahmed, MD

This man could care less about his patients.. Condescending and rude, slow to respond! He's not at all proactive with treatment or diagnosis. If you have a sick loved ones, don't take them there.

I'm self employed without insurance. I was hospitalized due to an asthma attack. This guys walks into the room (WHY UHC even called him in is beyond me...I never requested his presence and he's not my doctor.) and acted extremely arrogant. Every single time I asked him a question about my asthma, he responded by handing me his business card and said "come see me." This guy literally didn't give me a single ounce of medical advice and privately billed me almost $500!!! When I contacted his office asking if they offered any self pay discounts if I paid in full, and the rude office lady responded "no" and almost made a laughing sound while saying it. So I have a $4,000 hospital bill along with a separate $500 to this clown. Next time I have an asthma attack, I'll think I'll just risk it and stay home. He is a thief. I shouldn't have to pay him if he did absolutely nothing for me. That's the glory of the medical industry, if they say you owe money, you owe it. Nothing you can say or do… about it or it will be sent to collections. I'd avoid "Dr." Ahmed at ALL COSTS.

He walked into the room, never looked at me or acknowledge the fact that I was sitting there. After about 3 minutes I said "hi" he responded back with "hi" and went silent again. He was very rude and inconsiderate. Hope after my recheck this week that I never have to see him again, I will find another Dr. to see if I am told I need to go back.
