Jamil Oliver Alexis, MD

Dr. Jamil Alexis is a gastroenterologist who earned his medical degree from the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He completed his residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish in 1990, followed by a fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital that same year. With 36 years of experience in gastroenterology, Dr. Alexis brings extensive expertise to diagnosing and treating digestive system disorders. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse patient population.

Dr. Alexis practices at locations in Wilton and Stamford, Connecticut. His clinical focus includes treating common gastrointestinal conditions such as abdominal pain, colon polyps, and hemorrhoids. He performs essential diagnostic procedures including colonoscopy and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy to help identify and address digestive health concerns.
