Jamil Oliver Alexis, MD

Dr. Jamil Alexis specializes in gastroenterology, focusing on digestive system disorders and related conditions. He earned his medical degree from the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and completed his residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish in 1990. Dr. Alexis also finished his fellowship training at Bridgeport Hospital that same year, bringing 36 years of medical experience to his practice. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Alexis practices in Wilton and Stamford, Connecticut, where he treats patients with various digestive health concerns including colon polyps, abdominal pain, and dyspepsia. His expertise includes performing colonoscopies and lower GI endoscopies to diagnose and monitor intestinal conditions. He also conducts pathology tests to help identify underlying digestive disorders and provide comprehensive care for his patients.
