Dr. Jamila Bibi Marcus-Potter, MD

Dr. Marcus takes the time to listen, explain, explore alternatives and employs a holistic approach to her patient's health. There is always something I can learn from her regarding how to better ensure that my children are healthy.

I take my two children to see Dr. Marcus. My son always had bad doctor anxiety and has seen 2 other doctors at the practice but the patience of Dr. Marcus is unmatched he has never left one of his doctors appointment with her crying. He never lets anyone look in his ears or listen to his heart but he felt her energy and let her perform her duties without a fuss. She is also very knowledgeable we had many questions and some unrelated to the appointment about the children’s blood types and what that all means and she answered everything and i came out of the appointment more knowledgeable and really comfortable that she is so brilliant and caring. She really cares about her patients and never makes you feel she is rushed and takes all the time you need to answer all your questions thoroughly.

Dr. Marcus has been taking care of my children for the past two years. I am very big on a doctor’s “bed side manners” and Dr. Marcus passed my test with flying colors! She continuously displays a sincere, authentic attitude toward the care of my children. She never makes me fill rushed during visits and truly makes you feel that you are her only patient! She does an excellent job communicating to both myself as well as my children. Through her actions and interactions, it is clear that Dr. Marcus’ passion is taking care of pediatric patients and making sure her patients receive the best medical care possible! I highly recommend her!

Dr. Marcus has cared for both of my children. My daughter is scared of needles and normally it takes a small army to get a shot but Dr Marcus was able to coach her through it. My son who has ADD is seen by her as well. She is understanding, sensitive and compassionate. She made us feel cared about and taken care of.

Dr. Marcus-Potter is amazing with children and such a caring, kind Doctor. She goes above and beyond for her patients and she is the only Doctor I take my daughters to see.
