Jamison Jaffe, DO

He was completely unskilled to perform Laparoscopic Robot Assisted Prostatectomy. Common outcome were positive margine and urinary incontinence for very long time or for years.

He's bright like an Academic Physician. He's thorough and answers all questions. The only thing that's bad is trying to schedule a followup appointment. His staff doesn't return phone calls and Dr. Jaffee should be made aware of it.

Both him and his CRNP are poor healthcare providers. I do not recommend!

Extremely dissatisfied with this office. Both with the care my partner has received there and the communication with receptionists at the front desk. My partner has been in extreme pain for over a month and a half. At his last visit to this office Dr. Jaffe displayed a flippant attitude regarding his extreme pain and discomfort---simply scheduling a procedure 1 month out. Since that time we have been to the ER where he received a CT scan .The results of the scan (long with his constant pain/family history of cancer) led his primary care physician to call this office and request that his next appointment be moved up ASAP. I called as well to explain the situation and plead to be fit in as early as possible. The receptionist was completely apathetic to our situation and appalled that we would even ask to move the appointment because Dr. Jaffe books 6-12 months in advance. Completely ridiculous. Thank god I called other urologist office's in the area and found one that could urgently fit… him in within 2 days for the procedure/answers he needs. I cried at how relieved I was to come in contact with professionals who truly care. If you want compassionate and capable care do not go to this office.

he wants to do a prostate procedure and wont explain other options If you want a follow up appointment you have to see his nurse he is hiding somewhere

Jaffe is a terrible person. He is the most arrogant so called physician you will come across. He doesn’t take the time to find out and listen to his patients. And don’t be fooled by the Penn Medicine reviews on the Penn website they are fake. Because of his reluctantancy to perform his duties as a doctor. I went for unnecessary tests and ended up with more problems than I started with. Please save yourself from this place. Do your research and read all the reviews like I wish I would have. Good luck

You wait a while in the office and when you do get to see him, he rushes out without answering questions. Go somewhere else

Came on to write a review and can't believe that people really think he is a great doc. Very arrogant and high on himself. REally people??? I can only guess he has his office staff write glowing reviews. Thinks he is God . PASS!!!

What a jerk ... gives docs a bad name because I know some doc as friends and they would never act like this.

I suffer from Chronic Kidney Stone Disease (I pass stones every month) Medullary Sponge Kidney (MSK) & Stage 3 Kidney Disease. I have chronic kidney pain from all the kidney surgeries, procedures & stones I have passed over the last 16 years. I have seen too many urologist too count. Every single time I would see a urologist (even if a was a patient for years) the first thing they want to do is tap on my back kidney area. My back (kidney) is so sensitive most times i cant lean back on a hard chair let alone have somebody hit or tap the area. I have begged them not to but they always say its part of the examination, I need to just deal with it. One doctor "tapped" it so hard that I immediately threw up all over his pants & shoes because I was in so much pain. My last urologist told me there was nothing more he could do for me. He would only see me if a had a stone too large to pass on my own. I met Dr Jaffe while I was in St Mary's for 5 days for low pottasium & magnesium levels. When… he asked me to sit up I almost cried & begged him not to tap on my kidney area. He immediately responded with "I would never do that to you!" He said he could not imagine why any other doctor would considering all my kidney problems. He is also the only urologist I've seen that actually understands MSK and the pain it causes. He explained more in the hospital visit than all the other urologists I have seen in the past 16 years put together. I definitely recommend Dr Jaffe to anybody looking for a urologist!!
