Dr. Jan Leslie Campbell, MD

Dr. J. Campbell is by far the most experienced, professional, and extremely educated doctor in the ENTIRE area!!! What makes her invaluable is her real-life education and knowledge of the medical field, and most importantly, compassion for the actual INDIVIDUAL she is treating. I have seen other doctors over the years, and Dr. Campbell is unique in that she truly is very interested in new advancements in the field and how she can use them because she wants to help her patients. She actually listens. She applies her life experience (that can only be gained through live career physician/patient interaction) based on what the patient brings to the table. The difference has been that this helps me so that I can help myself now, and also develop life skills to use later. It also seems to me that KU backs up her and the other doctors and staff so that they can properly care for their patients in the Center. This means allowing patients options if certain med… types aren’t working, including reduction and learning skills for not needing them all together. Highly recommended her!!

J., Campbell, M.D., is the current acting director of the KU Methadone Clinic, her Vita says she holds degrees in psychiatry and neurology. See, KU faculty listings and/or search engines, including Google, Bing, Expedia et.,however in no reference by and KU or outseidof her being an Addiction Specialist, or having any addiction education or practice, but for the minimum required to obtain an M.D.

I saw her at the VA and she has a wonderful disposition as well as a strong expertise in pharmacology, my only regret is that she left and is now retiring. If she was still seeing patients I would make an appointment immediately.
